Job Title: Financial Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, including financial planning and analysis, budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proven track record of success in financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present individual, group consolidation financial reports, including monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis, and forecasting reports, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast on monthly basis, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, optimizing cash flow processes, and forecasting cash needs.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA/CA/CFA) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in a [CMP sector] environment.
- Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Excel).
