Responsibilities:
Supply Chain/Operations Management:
- Manage vendors/suppliers’ and 3PL relationships, and proactively negotiate for favourable contract prices, T&Cs and deliveries schedules to meet the businesses requirements
- Maintain and ensure entries in the ERP System are always accurate, up-to-date, and timely
- Liaise with 3rd party vendor on ERP system/s issues resolution, system improvements including upgrade and new deployment
- Responsible for the forecast and proposal of the annual/quarterly purchases and budgeting for Management approval
- Work closely with Stores, Warehouse and Vendors on inventory management, including:
Brand/Product Assortment management
Handling of Customer deliveries and Returns
Stock take and Stock-Take Accuracy
Managing and minimising Ageing inventory and Disposal
Purchase Order Management for new and replacement items
Work Orders Management for cleaning, repair, and servicing
Managing the Loan items to customers
Coordination for warehouse sales
- Act as Superuser for ERP system and other Front-End Tools
- Work closely with Stores, WH, Marketing, and 3PLs to ensure smooth running of Store promotions, and Sales Events
- Work with Stores, Suppliers and Management on Showroom display and replenishment
- Responsible for the maintenance of item master and pricing in ERP
- Timely escalation of any discrepancies / irregularities to management or HQ for further actions
- Maintenance and safe keeping of purchase records, contracts, & supplier databases
- Work closely with Finance/Management on cash flow management and payments
- Develop SOP and Flowcharts related to Purchasing & Costing
- Perform Product, Competitors and Market benchmarking and analysis
- Generate reports for management reporting/presentation
- Closely monitoring and maintenance of the brand/product price factor
- Ensure Gross Profit Margin for normal and promotional items are within the company’s guidelines, including locally sourced products
- Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Department Manager
People Management
- Supervise and manage a team of Buyer/Purchaser’s on their daily activities
- Responsible for training of new employees on SOP and use of ERP system (Purchasing)
- Training, Career Development and Staff Retention
- Performance Appraisal for Staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin or related field
- Assistant Manager: 3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain management or related field.
- Manager: 5 - 8 years of experience in supply chain management or related field.
- Proficient in ERP system, SCM software and WMS software.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simulataneously and work under pressure.
