Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
- Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
- Handle accounting processes and tasks, including AP & AR, general ledger, and account reconciliation.
- Support forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and local tax and government authorities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with finance filing requirements, tax filings (GST/WHT/CIT, etc.), audits, procedures, and both statutory and internal forms.
- Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems when required.
- Support the consolidation of group accounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.
- Strong understanding of Accounting Reporting Standards and Taxation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Degree in Accounting or relevant certification.
- Must be capable of consolidating group accounts.
- Prior experience in accounting within the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrates a can-do attitude, drive, passion for work, and openness to innovation and new ideas.
