Job Overview
As a member of the Compliance team, you shall assist in implementing the company’s compliance and risk management program to ensure adherence to the regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) reviews of new and existing customers
- Undertake ongoing compliance checks and investigation, including the review of name screening alerts (e.g. adverse news, sanctions, and Politically Exposed Persons)
- Assist in monitoring regulatory developments and preparing reports
- Co-ordinate staff training and assist in preparing the training materials
- Participate in AML / CFT projects and provide support in data collation
- Assist in handling general inquiries on KYC documentation
- Provide support in monitoring updates or requests from the stakeholders and updating records
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Holder
- Experience in AML is a plus but not essential
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn on the job
