Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all the predictive and preventive maintenance and repair work in the hotel
- Manage the addition and alteration works & M&E system upgrading works in the hotel and other new projects assigned by Director of Engineering / Chief engineer to ensure timeline is met and within budgets.
- Lead, supervise and train/develop technical skills for the team to obtain quality performance and productivity
- Review and update existing policies and establish new policy to ensure relevancy
- Conduct daily briefing/communication with the team, highlight various functions and responsibilities for the different job tasks
- Maintain systematic records to monitor all assigned job-tasks
- Ensure that the work that assigned to various employees adhere to safety guidelines with preventive measures in place
- Ensure all major plant equipment are in good working order
- Any other tasks assigned by Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer
- Assist Chief Engineer in operational cost management, budget, supervising maintenance works performed by external contractors, handyman and technicians
Education & Work Experience - Minimum Advance Diploma/BEng/BSc in Electrical/Mechanical/Facilities
- Preferably possess the following: Singapore Certified Energy Manager, Green Mark Facilities Manager, Fire Safety manager and/or Water Efficient Manager
- Experience in project management
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Displays good leadership skills, good attitude and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
