Responsibilities
• Assist in a study and review of the existing environment
• To ensure patch management agent is included in any new build/rebuild process for all installation on desktop units
• Work closely to strategize patch and implement management process
• Participate in pre-deployment patch testing for new patches /fixes
• Work closely with all pre-production patch testing tasks.
• Perform desktop SOE/Image patch update and testing services
• Patches will be pushed to Desktop/Notebook from the SCCM/Intune server.
• Check and verify patch deployment status and work closely with resident engineer and/or dispatch engineer to determine the root cause of any failures attend to desk-side for patching support or manual patching if required
• Update IT Management on latest Windows patches or hot fixes
• Perform security & vulnerability patch services monthly or as per agreed SLA with customers for critical patches.
• Provide monthly status updates on patch level for all desktops, laptops and Servers & service level reporting to IT management
Requirements
• Degree / Diploma in Information Technology with 2-3 years Desktop Support experience.
• Experienced in any of the followings: Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, Approved Internet Browsers (Edge, Chrome), Microsoft Intune , Security Patches
