Job Description
- Operates laboratory equipment and instruments to perform tests according to described procedures.
- Ensure materials and products are tested at the specified stage and conformed to the required specification.
- Routine machine calibration and ensure that laboratory equipment are properly maintained in accordance to approved SOPs and are in good working condition.
- Establish, create and implement ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and IATF16949 documentation requirement for design and development.
- Review, develop and update standards, procedures and work instructions when required.
- Distribution/filing of documents.
- Work closely with company Management Representative.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Chemistry, Materials Science or an equivalent discipline
- Relevant experience in facilitating FMEA, SPC, MSA quality systems development would be advantageous
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF16949 standards
- At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Industry
- Proactive, independent and ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment with tight schedules.
- Good interpersonal relationships and excellent communication skills.
- Good written and spoken communication skills (to liaise with factories in China)
- Proficient in MS office applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
