Accounts Payable Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for Accounts Payable – Payment duties
2. Processing payments (GIRO, Cheque, TT, FAST, MEPS, PayNow & Others Payment Method) to vendors (~$10 - $12 mil per month)
3. Maintaining of bank and payment entries in Agresso in a timely and accurate manner
4. Checking and following up to ensure payment is supported with supporting documents
5. Maintain proper and systematic filing of documents (invoices, credit notes, debit notes)
6. Updating vendors’ maintenance files
7. Inform Supplier or Buyer or requestor on the payment details
8. Assist with internal and external audits
9. Support during half yearly stock take
10. Support GL team for non-trade invoice processing (Matching & Payment)
11. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in order to maintain staffing flexibility and efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Working knowledge of GL System – Payment module

2. Diploma in Accounting

3. Working knowledge of MS Excel/Words

4. Accurate and neat

5. Independent, self-motivated and able to meet weekly payment deadlines

6. Ability to work with all levels of staff
