The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for a Teaching Assistant for the German primary school, available at the earliest convenience.
Responsabilities:
- To assist the teacher of primary classes
- To supervise and teach small groups within a whole class or small group setting
- To help preparing lesson materials
- To file and organise student work and resources
- To supervise students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
- To assist in lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
- Good English skills are required, as you will be interacting with English-speaking students
- Good German skills are required, as you will be communicating with German-speaking students
- Tertiary education qualifications are a plus
- Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
- Ability to adapt, organisational skills and a caring attitude
