Our client, Nasdaq listed MNC, is looking for an experienced Vice President to lead their Global IT team. The VP IT will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, applications, and operations. This role involves managing the IT team, developing and implementing IT strategies, ensuring system security, and driving technological innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and guiding IT teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Setting departmental goals and fostering a productive work environment.
- Developing and executing IT strategies aligned with business goals.
- Staying updated on industry trends to drive innovation.
- Overseeing the development, maintenance, and integration of enterprise-class ERP systems.
- Managing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Leading IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT support services and optimizing IT systems for smooth operations.
- Addressing and resolving IT issues promptly, and leading efforts to minimize recurrence.
- Coordinating IT system changes to ensure minimal disruption to users.
- Developing and enforcing IT security policies, managing IT risk, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Overseeing disaster recovery planning to ensure service continuity.
- Managing IT budgets, evaluating and selecting technology vendors, and overseeing vendor relationships.
- Overseeing user training and the development of documentation and self-help resources.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT operations and staying current with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10-15 years of IT management experience with a strong track record in leadership and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in IT systems, security, and compliance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in ERP systems, particularly D365 and Workday, and global manufacturing or supply chain.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are advantageous.
- Experience in SOX controls and vendor management.
