Job scope
1. Lead and oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis for Singapore, Malaysia, and Myanmar entities and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
2. Liaise with external auditor, tax agents and corporate secretary in preparation of local tax filing and statutory financial statement for the Singapore. Malaysia and Myanmar entities
3. Ensure timely submission of quarterly GST returns and commercial tax returns in Singapore and Myanmar entities respectively
4. Ensure timely submission of quarterly GST returns and tax compliance
5. Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes
6. Ensure timely quarterly reporting for Head Office
7. To collaborate with project teams to analyze project performance and communicate financial insights to the Board of Directors
8. Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
9. To manage treasury operations including cashflow and performance guarantees
10. To participate in budget preparation, monitoring and reporting the variance for the management
11. To act as corporate secretary, manage corporate secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Chartered Accountant is preferred).
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance in construction industry (preferably with audit experience)
3. Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, job costing, and financial reporting.
