Jr. Packaging Design Engineer

Location: Depot Close

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop packaging solutions that are safe, functional, and cost-effective

· Researching and analyzing materials and packaging solutions

· Designing and testing prototypes

· Conducting packaging performance tests

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and

quality control

· Identifying areas for improvement in packaging solutions

· Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations

· Conducting thorough on-site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Skills and Experience

· Min. of 3 years of experience in a packaging development organization or similar

· Familiarity with packaging manufacturing processes and systems

· Experience with design software, such as creo Elements, Creo or SolidWorks

· Knowledge of environmental regulations, including sustainable packaging design

· Pleasant demeanour with excellent inter-personal skills

· Good working understanding of common professional needs like online meetings, presentations, reporting etc.

Education

· Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical) OR Diploma in related mechanical or packaging or material engineering field
