Job Descriptions
- To coordinate and work closely with Operation, Berthing & Yard teams to optimize overall resources and vessel operational flow.
- To manage and monitor the vessels’ pre-arrival & post-arrival schedules and ensure good service level delivery.
- To comply to local law regulations and perform port formalities such as immigration and MPA vessel clearance.
- To monitor port call progress proactively and provide timely updates and maintain close communication with all stakeholders.
- To submit arrival bayplan, distribute container list and retrieve departure bayplan to maximize economy of shipping and safety onboard.
- To ensure the ship’s documentation complies with international and local regulations.
- To provide support in ad-hoc tasks or other activities as required.
Job Requirements
- Candidates with at least a Higher NITEC / Diploma in Maritime or Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.
- Candidates with at least 2 years relevant experience in the same area of work are preferred.
- Able and willing to work irregular hours, including late nights, weekends and public holidays depending on vessel schedule.
- May be required to board the assigned vessels.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under stress and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel) and G-suite tools.
- Candidates without prior relevant experience may be considered.
