We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team.
In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for children with varying developmental, physical, and sensory needs. You will work with children of all ages to help them develop essential skills and maximize their independence in daily activities, both at home and in school.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct assessments of children's motor, cognitive, and sensory processing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aimed at improving the child's daily functioning, including self-care, play, and school participation.
- Provide interventions that target fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and teachers to create a consistent approach to therapy that supports the child’s growth.
- Educate parents and caregivers on strategies and activities that enhance the child’s skill development and independence.
- Monitor and document the child’s progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to meet evolving goals.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- AHPC registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professional Council Singapore.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience. Fresh graduates with hands-on experience in paediatric settings or placements are encouraged to apply, as we value the passion and dedication you bring to the table.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining ethical standards.
