- Month-end closing, Consolidation and Group reporting
- Review of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Accounts Reconciliation
- Full scope including Fixed Assets, Leases, Inventory, Payroll, Intercompany, Accruals etc
- Ensure Group’s accounting procedures and guidelines are correctly applied to ensure quality and reliability of accounts
- Ensure reliability of accounting and tax information for local reporting
- Assist Accounting Manager in both Internal Audit and External Audit, including drafting of Financial Statements
- Assist in Corporate Income Tax and queries from Tax Authorities
- Assist in GST reporting
- Oversee and respond to Payments and Treasury matters, including Bank Reconciliation and Cashflow managed by Shared Service team
- Monitoring of invoice processing platforms and working with Shared Service team
- Vendor system approval, bank management
- Business partnering with various stakeholders including Controllers, Shared Service team, Tax, Auditors, Operations team etc
- Responsible for monitoring of KPI and following up with respective stakeholders
- Attend to shared mailboxes and respond to queries
- Projects involvement and finance system key user testings
- Any other ad-hoc as assigned
- Degree in Accounting
- 3 to 4 years of working experience as GL accountant
- Competency in SFRS and IFRS
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Ability to deliver within tight deadlines
