MEWP SPECIALIST

Description:

• Performing day-to-day maintenance operations in MEWP workshop environment
• Assess risk MEWP equipment and ensure that equipment are safe for work

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Competency

1. Product Familiarisation and understanding
2. Execute basic maintenance tasks (Preventive/Corrective tasks)
3. Execute basic troubleshooting
4. Product Functional Testing

• Workshop Planning and Execution

1. Ensure safety process at workshop
2. Understanding operation requirements (Manpower/Tasks etc.)
3. Understanding & executing Scope of Work for maintenance jobs

• Workflow Process

1. Understanding maintenance workflow process
2. Execute jobs according to workflow process

Competencies:

1. To learn how to operate equipment, tools and machinery
2. To learn how to perform regular inspection & diagnostic check/testing & troubleshooting on equipment and repair and maintenance work
3. To learn how to apply workshop practices, safety policies and housekeeping protocols in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Original Equipment Manufacturer’s recommendations
4. To learn how to practice to improve efficiency in maintenance workflow and workplace safety and health practices within operations
5. Take initiative to seek opportunities for improvements and implement preventive & corrective maintenance of equipment
6. To learn how to conduct technical presentations / familiarisation / functional testing
7. To learn how to prepare technical reports, documentation and checklist
