Job Summary
Responsible to support the buying process by performing sales analysis and ensuring that merchandise is properly and timely replenished to maximize sales opportunity.
Responsible for coordinating the various aspects of merchandise planning, inventory management, and product assortment to ensure that retail stores are stocked with the right inventory at the right time. You would also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Merchandisers, Customer Services, VM, Logistics and Retail to streamline operations and optimize sales.
Responsibilities:
- Update and provide quantitative information on monthly sales targets, stock delivery situation, and new merchandise delivery situation to all shops.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to optimize sales and profitability. Provide regular reports to management regarding sales trends, inventory performance, and product performance.
- Assist in preparing, checking, and approving refills, and special merchandise transfer for all shop locations.
- Prepare stock requisition to ensure timely delivery of merchandise for all shop locations.
- Co-ordinate with relevant departments to ensure that the shops are properly and sufficiently merchandised at all times.
- Work closely with various internal stakeholders such as buying, planning, marketing, and store operations to ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet business objectives.
- Assist in preparing product training material and conduct product training if needed.
- Compile ad hoc report and perform analysis as needed.
- Compile market trend analysis as needed.
- Conveys to the Retail Merchandising Planning department all information concerning significant events in the reference market, as well as events of local relevance.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
