The Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) is a charity committed to supporting the underprivileged in our community through a myriad of services, including but not limited to offering shelter to orphans and youths at risk, facilitating subsidized medical treatments, and administering financial aid through various programs.
Guided by our principle of "Towards a sincere pursuit of Ihsan", we aim to continuously create positive impacts within the communities we serve.
Job Summary
We are looking to recruit a diligent and dedicated Executive Officer (Publicity) at the Muslimin Trust Fund Association. In this role, your focus will be on spearheading publicity initiatives. If you have a background in marketing, or public relations along with a passion for serving the community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to shine.
Key Responsibilities
Publicity
- Strategy and Campaign Planning: Develop and execute strategic publicity campaigns for MTFA
- Media Relations: Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, fostering strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Content Creation: Create and edit a variety of content, including press releases, brochures, and social media posts, ensuring consistency and coherence with the brand's image.
- Events and Fundraising: To lead the organisation of events, courses, and fundraising campaigns to bolster the image and services MTFA.
- Digital Media Management: Regularly update the website and social media platforms, keeping the public informed about our services and initiatives.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the marketing or publicity sector.
- Proficiency in various areas including social media and website management, branding, and project management.
- Excellent command of the English and Malay languages, both written and spoken.
Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with market research and fundraising.
- Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative support skills.
Working Conditions
- Office Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Mon - Thur)
- Office Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Fri)
- Office Location: 5 Mattar Road
- Flexibility for remote work engagements, in accordance with MTFA's remote work policy.
