Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and execute training and deploy tools, principles and processes that eliminates waste using six sigma or lean approach
- Work closely with the relevant departments such as QA and Procurement to implement manufacturing improvement programs and resolve problems
- To control and manage production processes and ensure that the schedule is met
- To inculcate a quality mindset among assembly staff to meet or exceed customers’ expectations of quality in assembled products
- Identify training requirements to build a flexible workforce and strengthen production capability
- Carry out duties in accordance to with Quality policy, ISO standards, EHS control procedures and WIS
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing/production with supervisory role
- Experience in precision manufacturing industry is a plus
- Good knowledge of SAP system
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good knowledge of CNC machine operations
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experienced in leading a team and able to work under stress
