Job Description
- As the Deputy General Manager, in cooperation with the head office, other regional headquarters and other divisions, support the General Manager in formulating and executing the Energy Department strategies in the AP region. Namely, looking after business origination related to energy solution projects such as hydrogen, clean ammonia, and biofuel as well as LNG projects within Asia Pacific region, wrapping up divisional financial data and any internal reporting requirements, keeping track of and reporting material information such as regional energy outlooks/regulations/geo-political matters, and leading other local and regional staff.
- In close cooperation with the head office, other regional headquarters, and other divisions, improve operational efficiency, deepen internal control, strengthen existing businesses and affiliated companies, and new businesses.
- By understanding the state and role of the organization and taking the initiative in concrete efforts toward its realization, should be a role model for those around you.
- Regardless of the position, give appropriate advice to the surrounding staff/co-workers and contribute to the development of organizational members.
- Participate in the management of the organization and contribute to the achievement of the business plan while paying attention to internal controls and governance.
Job Requirements

- Ambition and proactive attitude of leading and managing an organization and the above task. Supporting the General Manager in all tasks.
- Work experience in a global oil & gas or LNG or renewables company for more than 5 years, and a Japanese company for more than 5 years.
- Work experience in business development area or commercial area with deep knowledge of economic evaluation, commercial/economical/legal due diligence.
- Able to write comprehensive reports on meetings, projects, industries, countries and/or regions either in English or Japanese.
- Skillful in making presentations and calculating economics, such as IRR of projects.
- Speaking and writing fluent English and Japanese.
- Draw potential out of other co-workers, subordinates and support their growth.
