Job Responsibilities:
As an Academic Executive at Victoria World Academy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our academic department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Executive Principal of our Headquarters in managing teaching and educational research, as well as academic affairs and examination-related tasks in Singapore.
- Develop educational and teaching management plans and proposals for the high school department to provide decision-making conditions for the school principal's educational management.
- Be responsible for the implementation of the school's research plan and teaching work, and improve standardized test scores.
- Guide and supervise the work of the teaching and academic affairs office to ensure normal teaching order. Focus on academic subjects, language courses, various competitions, and art courses, aiming to achieve excellent teaching performance.
- Strive to learn educational and teaching theories and educational regulations, improve the management level of educational and teaching, enhance scientific decision-making abilities in education, and enhance one's own research capabilities.
- Based on the requirements of the International High School Department, focus on teachers' professional growth and teacher evaluation and recognition.
- Conduct in-depth research, inspections, and supervision at the forefront of teaching to ensure that educational and teaching work proceeds as planned and systematically.
- Innovate boldly and create a new situation in the management of the International High School Department's teaching.
- Strengthen the updating, procurement, utilization, and maintenance of teaching facilities to improve the utilization and integrity of teaching hardware.
- Manage scientifically and efficiently, schedule classes reasonably, and assist the school principal in improving the department's teacher and classroom utilization rates and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the main campus to manage teaching work in both campuses and supervise and implement teaching-related tasks in the Singapore campus.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the school principal.
Job Requirements:
- Strong sense of mission and dedication to the field of education, with a clear vision, plans, and actions.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 3 years of experience in teaching management (Director level or above) in a large private (public is also acceptable) school's international department, or 5 years of experience in teaching management (Director General level or above) in an excellent education industry company, with over 5 years of teaching experience in standardized foreign exams.
- High-level thinking and strong communication and coordination skills, good mental abilities, and emotional management skills.
- Strong learning ability and a commitment to lifelong learning, with a strong interest and drive in educational science, psychology, management, and a good understanding of both domestic and international educational concepts and theories.
