- Responsible for exhibition daily operation to cover opening and closing, online ticket reservation, Merchandise sales and inventory, customer services and to resolve any operational issues as they arise.
- Manage onsite staff including hiring and training.
- Manage equipment and venue maintenance in a regular basis.
- Coordinate with building management and local authorities to address safety and security concerns to meet the safety regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with internal team and external vendors to ensure exhibition timelines, setup, execution and dismantling schedules.
- Prepare necessary forms and document and liaise with vendors/contractors for submissions to relevant authorities.
- Collect on-ground customer feedbacks and identify areas for improvement.
Vendor and Contractor Management
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for services such as exhibition construction and audiovisual equipment etc.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Coordinate logistics and schedules with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of services.
Others
- Assist advertising and marketing initiatives
- Assist in budget management and sales forecast
- Other exhibition related assignments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in events and exhibitions management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices for events and exhibitions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for onsite event management.
