Job description:
We are looking for business development director who is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall performance and profitability of the business. Business development directors are tasked with identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. As a business development director, one must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. They must also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions. A key aspect of the business development director's role is to identify new market opportunities and target new clients. This involves researching market trends, analyzing competitor activity, and identifying potential areas for growth. Business development directors must also be proactive in seeking out new business opportunities and developing relationships with key decision-makers. In addition to identifying new business opportunities, business development directors are also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue. This may involve developing pricing strategies, creating marketing campaigns, and negotiating contracts with clients. It is essential for business development directors to have a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles in order to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
• Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
• Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
• Training team members and overcoming objections
• Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
• Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
• Selecting automation software and software platforms that best meet company needs.
Requirements:
• Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
• At least 5 years of related working experience
• Able to multitask and open for at least 50% of time traveling.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills
