Job Description
Set up, test and provide technical support for all hearing venues scheduled for
virtual hearings, including hearings requiring both physical and virtual
participants.
• Set up, test and provide technical support for all virtual events, including events
attended by both physical and virtual guests and participants.
• Set up and provide technical support for all matters relating to court operations
requiring video conferencing solutions.
• As first responders, attend, manage, mitigate, resolve, and report all disruptions
relating to virtual hearings, events and meetings.
• Make sure all VC infrastructure’s related hardware and software are operational
at all times.
• Coordinate with and provide advice to all court users such as lawyers,
prosecutors, self-represented persons and court personnel for all matters
requiring video conferencing.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure hearing venues are available according to
court schedule.
• Take ownership in the management and maintenance of all VC and AV
equipment and system, e.g., routine checks and preventive maintenance works

to ensure no disruptions to virtual hearings and events in the 3 premises' hearing
venues and event locations.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to VC and AV equipment e.g.,
microphones, projectors and sound mixing equipment, including necessary
replacement, to enhance virtual hearings and events.
• Extract video recording from cloud or computer. It will require labelling, editing,
copying and storing media in DVDs or servers.
• Retrieve recordings for the purpose of transcription.
• Track inventory of VC and AV equipment and order supplies
Requirements
1 The SE/CFD shall have the following attributes:
• Good planning and organizing skills.
• Have a service-oriented mind-set.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills, and adaptable to change.
• Able to provide good customer service when providing technical services.
2 The SE/CFD must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience (AV/Electrical/Electronics/IT), of
which at least 1 year of experience should be in providing AV/ IT service to users.
• A diploma in a related field
3 In addition to the minimum requirements in paragraph 2, it will be ideal if the SE/CFD
could also meet the following requirements:
• Be familiar with customer service software such as Freshdesk or Manage Engine.
Working location : Havelock
Work from 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays
Work during weekends from 9.00am to 6.00pm for up to one (1) days per month when required.
