Responsibilities:

• Market spaces within Singapore Conference Hall (SCH) to potential customers and coordinate the booking of spaces
• Manage and coordinate hirers’ bookings and requests during their events
• Have an excellent knowledge of the venue and provide site information to clients and other stakeholders
• Manage and run site-viewing requests
• Manage the invoicing process for hirers’ bookings
• Manage a team of ushers and their work schedule
• Perform concert duties during Singapore Chinese Orchestra and hirers’ events/concerts
• Develop SCH venue rental package kit
• Perform operational and administrative functions as required

Requirements:

• A degree in any academic discipline
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure with a passion and drive to work with people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate well at all levels
• Able to work on weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays for event duties
• Experience in venue marketing and/or event management will be advantageous
