Our client is a global MNC, one of the most established pioneers in the Chemical industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a QA Assistant Manager / Manager to be part of their QA Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Duties of QA Assistant Manager / Manager:
- Oversee QA processes for raw materials, in-process items, finished products, and packaging.
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to set and uphold quality standards.
- Develop and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide inter-departmental support and ensure effective communication on quality-related issues.
- Lead the Quality Assurance Task Force to investigate and resolve product non-compliances.
- Manage maintenance and calibration of QA equipment.
- Evaluate monitoring records and process operation parameters.
- Handle material failure reviews and follow up on disposal decisions.
- Review out-of-specification product parameters and authorize fit-for-purpose decisions.
- Implement actions to prevent product nonconformity.
- Identify and document product quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and security standards in the workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in related field
