Job Description:
- Involve in sourcing of new vendors, price negotiation, costs reduction and shortening of lead time activities
- Cost analysis for the main source and alternative parts
- Conducted vendor qualifications audits & work with Quality department on vendor selection
- Confirm parts specification during sourcing & new parts selection
- Work with Project Engineer on creation of BOM list
- Request quotation (RFQ) of new parts based on BOM list
- Work with product safety engineer on safety and critical parts qualification
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in any field but preferably in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management or equivalent
- Strong in Microsoft Application and Data analysis
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work Overtime
