As a project manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, including site launches, online tools, web and mobile applications. You will work with a range of clients on several different projects and must be adept at managing and building client relationships and reporting on the status of projects. For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our project's digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead role and display the behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with agile methods
- Coach teams and management towards improving Agile process and metrics, evaluate and mentor existing Scrum teams, and deliver training classes for product owners, developers and testers
- Develop, implement and manage team metrics, evaluate team metrics and make recommendations to teams and management for improvements
- Drive the organization-wide agile adoption strategy and rollout plans
- Capture feedback and continuously improve enterprise Agile guidance, training materials, and content
- Client stakeholder and team management
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutionsDevelop a detailed project plan and monitor progress
- Well versed with documentation for business requirements
- Lead and initiate the setup and processes for best practices in agile managements and also responsible for setting up and using tools such as Trello, Jira or other management tools
- Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
- Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects
- Oversee End-to-End Delivery – Solution, Implementation and Support
- Ensure that the quality of our offering is measured on a regular basis and is best in class
- Lead and coach a team working on mobile application products that push the limits of technology
- Curious about modern technology stack, open API, AI tools and process innovation in the design and technology world
- Good understanding of mobile, web, cms and enterprise solutions
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery Work in a fast paced environment, manage quality expectations against deadlines and keep your team motivated under pressure
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional- solutions
- Working with the front end developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features
- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
- Oversee End-to-End Delivery – Solution, Implementation and Support
- Ensure that the quality of our offering is measured on a regular basis and is best in class
- Experienced in technical implementation of Web and Mobile applications and well versed with design and front-end technologies
Prerequisites
- A certified Project manager and 3+ years of work experience
- Experience or knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Should be well versed with the design thinking process
- Usage of new tools and delivery methodologies is a must
- Must be able to work with multiple clients/projects with efficient mechanics of delivery management
- Strong communication skills and experience in facilitation
- Familiarity with responsive, adaptive or native design and mobile development processes.
- Experience in Banking, Financial, Telecommunication Industry and exposure to Mobile Technologies is an added advantage
- Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
- Technical expertise is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience directly managing people
- Required Skill(s): UI/UX, Project management, Agile, Application Delivery
