about the role
The company is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will manage a comprehensive set of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL). Responsibilities will include overseeing month-end closings, preparing financial reports and consolidations, and collaborating with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role also involves implementing internal controls, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting audits, with additional tasks as needed.
skills and experience needed
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by at least 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance. They should possess extensive expertise in managing full sets of accounts, including consolidation and system setup. A deep understanding of International and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is essential for success in this role.
Proficiency in financial data analysis is crucial, as the candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex financial information and providing valuable insights. Familiarity with local and APAC accounting standards and tax laws is also important to ensure compliance and accuracy.
