Job Description:-
1. Create and maintain optimal Database/DWH/Datamart and Architecture, which may include:
· Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using informatica, SQL and related technologies.
· Identify, design and implement internal process improvements.
i) Automating manual processes
ii) Optimizing data delivery
iii) Re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
iv) Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and build/maintain Datamart.
2. Participate in project and assist the user PM on the following:
· To coordinate with IT and stakeholders on the completion of the UAT.
· To create test cases/test script
· To conduct UAT testing and post implementation phase
Requirements:-
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
· Experience in IT or database administration a plus.
· Experience with Java GUI front-end development, SQL, Postgres, or equivalent database tools.
· Experience with Agile software development using JIRA.
· Experience in: Multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu), Mac OS X, and Windows systems.
· Experience working in a research environment that relies extensively on Open Source solutions.
· Knowledge of the Incident Response life-cycle, working independently to investigate and effectively respond to cyber security incidents.
· Security certifications, Database Administrator certifications.
