(2nd GRINDING DEPARTMENT)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and ensure smooth efficient flow of daily production in department and to maintain the quality of the products to meet customer expectation simultaneously.
DUTIES:
1. Coordinate 2nd Grinding schedule parts flow according to Production Planning.
2. To verify that correct documents, drawings and master bearing are used during the process.
3. Operating of Raceway Grinding machine, ensuring good dimension and specification of raceway according to engineering drawing.
4. Operating of Bore Grinding machine, ensuring good dimension and specification of bore according to engineering drawing.
5. Operating of Raceway Super Finishing machine for polishing the inner and outer ring raceway, ensuring a smooth and accurate surface.
6. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs
7. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product integrity
8. Provide training and guidance to machine operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
9. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address production issues and improve efficiency
10. Maintain and arrange appropriate stock level of tooling and production materials to meet the production requirements.
11. To identify areas for improvements and recommend corrective actions for quality, productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity and cost reduction
13. Plan and execute improvement projects from conception to completion
14. Compile audit work papers and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
15. Assist in the development of audit protocols and procedures
16. Perform other administrative duties as assigned
17. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
18. Review and recommend changes for department procedures for work environment and safety aspects (E.g. IATF 16949, ISO14001, Safety Management Systems, etc.)
19. Attend meetings, reviews, discussion and coordinating with Production Supervisors to achieve department objectives, while performing any other instructions required by superiors in the interest of the organisation
20. To plan the efficient utilization of own work time to carry out the above listed duties of the designation and other where applicable, as well as any other specific instructions or assignments given by superior from time to time, in respect of matters related.
