Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing interior design concepts (HDB/ Commerical / Landed / Office etc) based on client requirements and design briefs.
- Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, using design software tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and 3Ds Max.
- Prepare materials and finishes selections for projects (HDB/ Commerical / Landed / Office etc), including sourcing and coordinating samples.
- Support the team in preparing presentations / schedule work flow and visual aids for client meetings.
- Collaborate with the design team in the selection of furniture, fixtures, and accessories for interior spaces.
- Assist with project management tasks, such as tracking project progress, managing project documentation, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
- Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and products to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
- Help with administrative tasks such as organizing design files, maintaining project documentation, and managing the design library.
- To conduct site inspections on matters of design & technical coordination issue
- Work on multiple projects concurrently / closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project work smoothly and deliver on expectations within tight deadlines
Requirements (not necessary but a plus):
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and/or 3Ds Max.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior designers.
- Enthusiasm for interior design and a desire to grow and develop skills in the field
Note: While proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and/or 3Ds Max is listed as a requirement, it is not necessary for applicants to have expertise in all of these software tools. Familiarity with any of these software tools will be considered a plus, and on-the-job training may be provided to further develop skills in these areas.
