OPERATIONS MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To supervise the work of sub-contractors and work closely with other operations staff to meet the project
  • schedule
  • Report to the Construction Manager
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • You will adhere to construction procedures and safe work practices and ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship so as to meet the stringent requirement conducted during site tests and inspections
  • Verified dimensions and checked the quality and fit of pieces.
  • Measured and marked dimensions of sites.
  • Performed Cabinet assembly with the use of hand tools.
  • Assisted with all aspects of the assembly team.
  • Read detailed schematics for cabinets and executed assembly accurately.
  • Helped with delivering and manually installing cabinets.
  • Installed cabinets in residential homes.
  • Schedule planning, organizing and controlling the daily operations
  • Day to day management of site and monitoring the sites labour force
  • Maintain documentation in daily operations
  • Checking and ensuring all plans and work are as per design
  • To ensure all safety measure are comply at the worksite and to maintain safe working environment
  • Resolving any difficulties and problem that may arise on site
  • Attend meetings / site survey
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
  • Able to work independently with a positive attitude
  • can work on publick holidays
  • can work on shifts/change of shifts
  • can work and stand for long hours
  • have relavant degree/diploma



Qualifications

· Min. Bachelor Qualification Needed.

· At least 3 years in construction management or a related field.

· Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.

· Strong decision making and problem solving skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Organised, meticulous and able to work independently and work as a team
