Summary:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the Quality department. Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain the company quality inspection and product release programs for incoming, in-process materials/components and finished goods products line (Adhesive).
· Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate, and agree to comprehensive quality procedures.
· Supervise subordinates in the process of quality tests and checks.
· Ensure all internal and external complaints about product quality are resolved in a timely and complete manner.
· Ensure supplier management programs comply with established quality procedures.
· Perform/ monitor stability program for new products and transfer products.
· Ensure necessary QC support for the NPI and NPT process and provide quality decisions for various stages of the NPD cycle.
· Support and manage shelf-life extension programs for raw materials as per policy
· Champion data-driven decisions to achieve cost reduction, problem solutions, and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
· Support and troubleshoot necessary QC equipment such as HPLC, DSC, UV spectrophotometer and conduct related training as required to maintain plant production and testing operations.
· Manage the team to develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to ensure the Company’s Quality System and Policies are compliant with quality system requirement.
· Consult with customer’s auditors and ensure that correction actions are executed and in compliance with the customer’s specifications.
· Conducting internal system audit/ process audit and ensure that correction actions are executed and in compliance with customer’s specifications.
· Perform other duties as specified by the management.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Diploma in material science, chemical engineering, or other relevant discipline.
· 3 to 5 years of related experience preferably in a chemical, medical, Pharma, and electronics environment.
· Familiar with RCA tools (FMEA, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone Diagram)
· Demonstrated experience in ISO 9001/ ISO13485/ IATF 16949 and other related quality
· management systems.
· Meticulous and thorough in Quality inspection procedures.
· Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
Additional Information:
· Salary: S$3.5K to S$3.8K + 1-month completion bonus pro-rated
· Commencement Date: Immediate
· Working days and hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm
