Job Responsibilities


Building and Maintenance

· Assist the Manager in implementing preventive/corrective maintenance works to ensure that basic facilities at CDAC Headquarter and Centres are well-maintained.

· Provide support to the Manager in ensuring a timely delivery and completion of troubleshooting and service/maintenance works.

· Attend to all service requests and perform maintenance works in CDAC Headquarter and Centres (include building/M&E services).

· Handle inspections of building premises to determine the need for repairs and/or renovations.

· Plan and coordinate all installations (building/M&E services) and refurbishments.

· Monitor utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.


Contract, Project and Budget Management

· Oversee building projects and renovations (Headquarters and Centres). Able to liaise with Professional consultants such as Architects, Engineers etc. Project management of Additions and Alteration Works of at least $30 million.

· Prepare Tender Specifications for Building Works.

· Manage maintenance budgets and perform cost analysis and forecasting.

· Handle and manage contracts with service providers for services including building, landscape, security, cleaning, electrical, air-conditioner units,etc.

· Coordinate and liaise closely with suppliers/service providers/contractors on all service/maintenance related issues and ensure proper work procedures while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. Also ensure that such works are also carried out as per contractual requirements.

· Technical knowledge of M&E systems which include but not limited to Fire Protection systems, AV systems, ACMV systems


Compliance Monitoring

· Assist Manager to ensure that facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards and energy efficiency requirements. This includes compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

· Familiar with Building Construction Authority (BCA) codes and regulations.


Job Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in Building Services/Engineering or equivalent qualification

· At least 5 years of building facilities & maintenance experience, project management in Additions & Alteration (A&A) works.

· Strong technical competence and well versed in building maintenance.

· Ability to read construction and M&E drawings.

· Ability to work independently, plan and deliver results with strong commitment.

· Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
