- Monitor and analyse global dry bulk freight markets to develop trading strategies
- Execute trades in FFAs and other freight derivatives to manage freight exposure risk across the company's portfolio
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to hedge against volatile freight costs
- Liaise with physical trading team, risk management departments etc
- Track and report on the performance of freight trading activities, providing insights and recommendations

skills and experience required
- CFA/FRM is a plus
- At least 5 years of related experience in FFA trading/freight risk management with focuses on dry bulk
- Experience in dry bulk freight market, include key routes, vessel types, market drivers
- Proven track record of successful FFA trading and risk management
- Strong ability to interpret complex market data and trends
- Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software, as well as advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
