We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Academic Director to lead and oversee the academic programs and initiatives. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in education, curriculum development, and academic administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership:Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the academy’s academic vision, goals, and objectives.
Oversee the design, development, and evaluation of academic programs and curricula, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational best practices.
Monitor and ensure the quality and effectiveness of all academic programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance student outcomes.
- Curriculum Development and Management:Oversee the creation and revision of curricula, ensuring they are relevant, rigorous, and meet the needs of a diverse student population.
Implement and manage processes for curriculum review and assessment, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with accreditation standards.
- Accreditation and Compliance:Ensure the academy’s academic programs comply with all accreditation requirements and standards.
Lead efforts to prepare for accreditation reviews, audits, and reporting, maintaining the highest levels of academic integrity and accountability.
Stay informed of changes in educational regulations and policies, ensuring the institution remains in compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting:Participate in the academy’s strategic planning process, contributing to the development of long-term academic goals and objectives.
Manage the academic budget, allocating resources effectively to support academic initiatives and priorities.
Identify and pursue opportunities for academic grants, partnerships, and funding to enhance the institution’s programs and resources.
- Communication and Collaboration:Serve as a key liaison between the academic department and other departments within the group, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Education:A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Additional certifications or credentials related to academic administration or leadership (preferred).
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in academic leadership or administration, with a proven track record of managing and enhancing academic programs.
Strong background in curriculum development, faculty management, and student success initiatives.
Experience with accreditation processes and maintaining compliance with educational standards.
