We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Solution Architect with a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing mission-critical systems, with expertise in Java8, Java Spring Boot, API, React JS, and Hadoop-Hive. The candidate should be capable of designing complex multi-tier application architectures and possess a deep understanding of modern data solutions, including Data Lakes, ETL processes, and advanced data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of architecture for mission-critical systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Utilize strong expertise in Java8, Java Spring Boot, API development, React JS, and Hadoop-Hive to create innovative solutions that meet business needs.
- Design and develop multi-tier application architecture, incorporating both backend and frontend (UI) components.
- Implement data lake architectures and integrate advanced data analytics solutions using technologies like PostgreSQL and ETL processes.
- Create detailed architectural documentation, including HLD and LLD, to guide the development process and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and other architects, to guide the team on architecture decisions.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks related to data lakes, ensuring that solutions remain at the cutting edge.
- Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and leadership in guiding development teams.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate architectural solutions and complex technical concepts effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Java8, Java Spring Boot, API, React JS, Hadoop-Hive
- Experience with Data Lake architectures, ETL processes, PostgreSQL, and advanced data analytics
- Proven experience working within the banking sector, with a strong understanding of its specific needs and challenges.
- Strong experience in high-level and low-level design, particularly in the architecture of mission-critical systems.
- Deep understanding of middleware and UI technologies, with the ability to design and develop comprehensive multi-tier application architectures.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks.
- Capable of working independently and making informed decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to guide and influence teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in Java, cloud computing, or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architecture role.
