Job Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for overall accounting & financial department operation.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and other financial statements reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. - Handle full set of consolidation account (AP bill, AR, GL & Journal)
  • Supervise all aspects of the Accounts department.
  • Lead and supervise team members on day to day accounting and finance functions and reviews to ensure transactions are posted accurately in the accounts.
  • Develop cost accounting system, Monthly P&L Forecast, statistical data and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with bank, auditors, tax agent, secretary and relevant government authorities. Ensure compliance of Company's Standard Operating Procedures and notifies Management of any irregularities or non-compliance discovered; and investigates into any irregularities as and when required by Management.
  • Preparation of yearly budget and biweekly cash flow planning.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation. Preparation and submission of service tax.
  • Any other responsibility that management may assign from time to time.

Job Requirements :

  • Candidate must posses at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, LCCI, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, CAT, ACCA or equivalent. - Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 5 - 8 years of working experience in the related accounting/finance field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with computerized accounting system, preferably SQL
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines and to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to lead, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and team player.
