ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Management: Oversee and manage a team of workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Site Operations: Coordinate daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Rotating Shifts: Work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts, split shifts, public holidays, and Sundays.
• Environmental Adaptability: Operate in challenging conditions, including dusty, dirty environments and various weather conditions.
• Communication & Teamwork: Work effectively with a diverse workforce, including WP holders who may have language barriers.
• Independence: Perform duties independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

1. RES Certificate: Possess a Registered Earthworks Supervisor (RES) Certificate.
2. BCSS Certificate: Hold a Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) Certificate.
3. Singapore Class 3 Driving License: A valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is required.
4. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in PowerGrid-related work.
5. Shift Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts and split shifts.
6. Physical Stamina: Willingness to work in dusty, dirty, and challenging environments, including all weather conditions.
7. Work Hours: Prepared to work long hours, including public holidays and Sundays.
8. Language Adaptability: Able to work and communicate effectively in an environment with language barriers, particularly with WP holders.
