Job Description
- Position: Accounts Assistant
- Well Established Singapore Based Air Cargo and Logistics Services Provider
- Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm); Alternate Saturday (8:00am to 12noon)
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,000
- Working Location: Changi
- Duration: Permanent
- Industry: Logistics
Main Responsibilities:
- Issue invoices and email them to customers and cargo agents.
- Release AWB to Co-load/Export upon request.
- Request AWB when stocks are low.
- Monitor, update, and record AWB inventory.
- Check the costs of invoices from airlines and cargo agents.
- Process vendor invoices and payment vouchers.
- Follow up with vendors for refunds and disputes.
- Follow up with customers for payments and any disputes.
- Ensure timely monthly closing of AP, AR, and generate reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and prepare GST F5.
- Pass journal entries.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager as needed.
