In the role of infrastructure support, your responsibilities include assisting with infrastructure planning and design, supporting infrastructure operations, maintaining infrastructure, optimizing infrastructure performance, and resolving infrastructure incidents.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in planning and designing infrastructure systems, and documenting related activities and decisions.
- Performing infrastructure operations activities, such as installations, and ensuring alignment with service agreement standards.
- Conducting ongoing maintenance activities and implementing agreed changes and maintenance routines.
- Tuning and optimizing infrastructure hardware and software components, and participating in development activities and testing.
- Gathering performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting, and assisting with piloting new tools, technologies, or processes.
- Identifying and resolving infrastructure problems and issues, simulating user problems to address operating difficulties, and following up with users to ensure resolution.
- Recommending system modifications to reduce user problems.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any IT related field or Computing Field
- Familiarity with infrastructure operations, including installation of systems according to design specifications
- Experience in infrastructure planning and design, with the ability to assist in these activities
- Participation in infrastructure development activities and testing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including deployment and management of infrastructure resources.
