Job Title: XOC Analyst
Summary:
As an XOC (Cross Operations Center) Analyst, you’ll be the first line of defense, responsible for quick detection and incident response across various monitoring systems. You’ll handle alerts, conduct thorough investigations, and provide critical insights to support the resolution of incidents across data center sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incident & Problem Management:
• Respond to and investigate alerts using monitoring tools.
• Act as the incident commander during critical situations.
• Maintain detailed records of incident handling.
2. Alarm Operations:
• Monitor systems for network, server health, and facility security.
• Assess and escalate incidents based on their criticality.
• Document procedures and actions taken to resolve incidents.
3. Threat Intelligence & Critical Event Management:
• Monitor tools for real-time incidents impacting assets.
• Coordinate emergency responses and provide timely notifications.
• Collaborate with security and operational teams for incident containment.
4. Physical Security & Safety:
• Monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Respond to incidents related to safety alarms and access control anomalies.
5. Badge Management:
• Handle badge enrollments and access card programming.
• Conduct audits and manage access logs.
6. Continuous Service Improvement:
• Identify and implement improvements in service delivery processes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
• Basic Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a command center or 24x7 operations environment.
• Strong skills in incident triage, communication, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of IP Networks, DC environments, and server health.
• Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology.
• Experience with Ticketing, Grafana, Servers, and Data Center Systems.
• Certifications like CompTIA Server+, DCCA are a plus.
