Infant Care Language Teacher
You will be essential in promoting the learning and growth of infants and toddlers through interactive and enriching experiences. As you build a special connection with these children, you will work closely with their families and watch them develop. Partnering with parents, you will nurture the overall development of infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities
● Identify How Children (Birth to Age 3) Learn and Develop
● Assist in Planning and Implementing Developmentally Appropriate Teaching, Learning and Caregiving Approaches Aligned to Curriculum Frameworks
● Assist in Observation and Documentation of Children’s Learning
● Assist in Integrating Respectfulness, Responsiveness and Reciprocity within the Curriculum
● Assist in Setting up Quality Learning Environments
● Display Sensitivity to Each Child’s Needs (within a Group Setting) through Respectful, Responsive and Reciprocal Interactions and Relationships with Children
● Support Children’s Development of Secure Attachments through Warm, Consistent and Nurturing Caregiving
● Adhere to Health, Safety, Nutritional and Hygiene Standards and Procedures
● Facilitate the Continuity of Care and Education between the Home and Centre
● Engage in Partnerships and Collaborations with Community Stakeholders ● Engage in Continuous Learning and Reflective Practice
● Perform any other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
· Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
· Candidates who are currently undergoing HCIC/ACEY are welcome to apply too
· Prioritize health, safety and hygiene concerns
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications would be an added advantage
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Good interpersonal skills such as being able to relate and interact with fellow colleagues, parents and children
