Position: Shipping Executive (Job ID: 19235)
Working hour:
Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm,
Saturday - 8am to 2pm (x1 time per month with duty allowance)
Job Description:
• Shipping Documentation – Prepare and manage large volume of shipping documentations(Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders and Airway Bill) by stipulated daily schedules to facilitate outbound shipment delivery to customers
• Document Control and Accuracy – Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete and comply with industry regulations and Company standards
• Logistics Coordination – Coordinate import shipment documentations with forwarders for timely transportation to Warehouse
• Communication – Act as the main point of contact with regards to any shipping enquiries and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of daily operations
• Problem Solving – Investigate and resolve any issues or problems relating to discrepancies, shipment delays or damages
• Process Improvements - Recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the shipment goods management process
• Reporting – Perform data analysis work and prepare operation management reports
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant logistics experience in handling import & export shipping documentation
• Must be well versed in processing standard shipping & business documents & their terminology
• Proficient in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Have initiative and is a team player
• Adaptable to fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
