We have an opening for a Business Development Manager for our B2B corporate/ enterprise business. The incumbent is responsible for generating new business from Importers, Exporters, Software companies, logistics and shipping, new economy businesses e.g. Market Places with cross-border payment needs. Given the pivotal stage of the company and its ambitious growth plans, this role could be professionally transformative to anyone aspiring to build sales career in the fintech payments space. And in keeping with this theme, the compensation structure for the role includes a large and attractive variable component to incentivize and provide fair reward for results.
Key Responsibilities:· Source business accounts/ prospects for short and long-term pursuit to achieve assigned sales objectives.· Work with the SingX Marketing/ Product/ Treasury teams to identify customers’ needs, challenges and technical requirements and develop solutions leveraging SingX’s product capabilities.· Meet or exceed Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales objectives and revenue goals· Provide timely and accurate information to management on opportunity status and forecast· Build strong client relationships; engage and influence key decision makers for deepening relationships and sourcing referrals.· Contribute towards SingX’s product and services capability build by sharing knowledge of industry best practices and other new ideas based on experience in the field.
Requirements:· 2-10 years of relevant work experience in either Foreign Exchange/ Cross-Border payments/ Corporate Cards· Preferably a Graduate or professional qualification from a recognized university· Proven track record of success in delivering on sales goals· Strong negotiation and closing skills· Persistent, dependable, coachable and with high integrity· Ability to work under pressure and meticulous attention to detail
