Job Scope:
- Receive and accession specimens from histopathology/cytology laboratory.
- Perform various technical functions including microtomy, basic histological staining of the tissue sections, and general molecular techniques (DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, etc).
- Assist in implementing laboratory quality control and assurance programmes and conduct daily monitoring and quality control activities.
- Ensure proper safe storage and preparation of laboratory reagents.
- Perform and record daily equipment maintenance procedures according to specifications.
- Assist in the laboratory statistical tabulation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma / Degree in Biomedical Science
- Prior related internship experience would be advantageous
- Able to commit for the whole period
