Our Client is a well-established electronics components representative and distribution company serving major electronics manufacturers in the ASEAN region, distributing semiconductors, discrete components, and passive components.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting for New Accounts:
- Actively seek out and identify potential new customers or business opportunities.
- Build relationships with prospects, understand their needs, and introduce relevant products and solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team to convert prospects into long-term clients.
Servicing Existing Customers:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current customers.
- Provide ongoing technical support, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the products and services.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting, particularly with issues related to analog ICs, board design, and other components.
- Coordinate with the suppliers' technical teams to resolve any complex problems.
Providing Market Trend Feedback:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the industry.
- Gather insights from customers and the market to provide feedback to the product development and sales teams.
- Use this information to help guide product improvements and future sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Must possess an IEEE degree with relevant experience or an Electrical Engineering (EE) diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Strong understanding of component applications, especially in analog integrated circuits (ICs) and board design.
Technical Troubleshooting:
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving customer issues with support from suppliers' technical teams.
- Engage in conference calls, particularly with U.S. suppliers, to discuss product training, problem-solving, or related technical matters.
Willingness to Travel and Work Flexible Hours:
- Must be prepared to work non-standard hours to accommodate time zones, particularly for calls with U.S.-based suppliers.
- Travel may be required for product training or business meetings, both domestically and internationally.
