MISSION AND CHALLENGES OF THE CANDIDATE
Leadership of Marketing, product Categories (specialties), Technical and technological related activities and team in the APAC region to support sustainable business development in line with Adisseo’s strategy by species product category.
- Be the translator between sales and categories: Set the business priorities for the region and contribute to the regional strategy.
- Manage the regional team of RCMS, RTMs, Marketing and service manager.
- Ensure a coherent positioning of the different categories and a smooth management of priorities.
- Responsible for building the regional marketing plan and generating leads to fuel the sales pipe for the region.
- Ensure an effective use of internal resources and deployment of the solution approach to achieve customer success (including leveraging our services offer).
RESPONSIBILITY
MARKETING
Develop and align business strategies on product category level, propose Region business strategy.
- Coordinate the new product development projects with sales, marketing and technical teams and SBUs.
- Coordinate, identify and prioritize the needs for product registration with market access, RCMs and sales.
- Define regional marketing strategy, prioritize campaigns and validate the regional marketing plans and ensure its implementation.
- Address product availability matters in Coordination with Supply chain and Country teams
- Coordinate and prepare business budgeting.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Management of the specialty sales targets in closed coloration with local sales teams in APAC region including revenue reporting to internal stakeholders
- Drive the new business development.
- Identify and apply new approaches with digital tools to grow the business and optimize the business management
- Ensure a good coordination with other regional category , Marketing and Technical managers in order to guarantee a coherent positioning of different specialty and performance products, to ensure an effective deployment of the solution approach
- Manage and prioritize the product portfolio based on reasonable criteria in sales, business coverage, potential etc.
- In coordination with country teams create commercial campaigns to drive maximum value for clients.
- Ensure that good practices and tools (CRM…) related sales and business management defined by SBU are well implemented in the region
- Monitor forecast of all categories, making sure its accuracy and alignment with the strategy and budget
- Reviewing existing client relationships - understanding their requirements, ensuring their needs are met by offering solutions.
- Review local distribution management policy for all categories and monitor the implementation.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Supervise a categories, marketing, technical team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
- Ensure smooth information exchange and coordination with Global specialty SBUs and Global Sales.
- Set up objectives and monitor the performance of team
- Ensure that each team member has a proper development plan and execute it.
- Leading regular team meetings and one-to-one staff development, Mentor and develop all reportees in SG
EDUCATION, SKILLS, WORK EXPERRIENCE
1. PhD or master’s in animal nutrition and/or Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent
2. 4 to 6 years’ practical experience in the feed or feed additive industry
3. Self-driven with good interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
4. Ability to speak fluently English, knowing Mandarin or SEA local languages would be a plus
5. Willing to travel for at least 25% of working time
