Graphic Designer, Corporate Communications
Responsibilities:
Working with the FCBC’s Creative Director, the Graphic Designer is the point person to effectively communicate the organisation’s key messages, activities and initiatives through impactful visual representation and design. The candidate must be able to comfortably work across a variety of platforms, as well as being able to identify and recommend innovative design trends or platforms of visual representation. The candidate’s ideas will be used in the organisation’s website, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, corporate identity, international conferences and events.
· Seasonal Church Themes
Conceptualise and produce the appropriate overarching thematic visuals to support FCBC’s seasonal church themes. The designer works with the Creative Director and Corp Comms team to ensure that all visual and creative concepts are implemented and executed according to guidelines and the overall annual direction of the church.
· Presentation and Publicity/Marketing Slides
Conceptualise, design and produce various graphical elements of all public presentation slides, such as the weekly sermon slides. The designer is expected to successfully communicate the key message and theme given by the church leadership through creating and using appropriate graphics or images.
· Marketing and Publicity Material
Initiate the creative direction and production of all of FCBC’s publicity and outbound communication materials. This includes brochures, flyers, corporate and marketing packs to publicise the church’s activities and key messages.
The designer is also expected to work closely with external vendors including printing and production companies, and is expected to independently project-manage various timelines and critical milestones/deliverables are met.
Requirements:
- Well versed in In-Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After-Effects or relevant software
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience in use of Canva would be advantageous
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Arts & Design and Illustration (or related discipline) from an accredited Institute of Higher Learning preferred, however, those with relevant experience will also be considered.
- A team player, able to work collaboratively and be open to feedback to actualise the ideas that the organisation wants to visually communicate
- A good communicator - able to translate concepts, creative briefs and ideas, into creative unique designs to promote key messages and events
- Good command of English. A good command of Chinese would also be advantageous
- Must be comfortable and confident to work with external parties and vendors
- Motivated, positive, and collaborative with a pleasant personality
- Any other tasks as assigned
